Motorola Rapid Prototyping Services is co-located on the campus of Motorola's South Florida Design Center, a few miles west of Fort Lauderdale. The 800,000 square foot (74,250 sq. meter) facility is also home to Motorola teams that develop mission critical radios, cellular phones and PDAs, and compact radios for business and commercial use, as well as Motorola's headquarters for the Latin America region.

• Our Rapid Prototyping Operations cover 25,000 square feet (2,320 sq. meters) including dedicated lab and manufacturing areas for each of the services we offer. We continually re-invest in our business to maintain a leadership position in software tools, lab capabilities, and operational equipment.

• Our staff is diverse, highly trained, and highly experienced. Approximately 100 engineers and skilled technicians perform $15M-$20M in work annually, supporting customers in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

• Our primary value proposition is cycle time. Our processes have been streamlined to deliver accurate prototype parts at the minimum possible lead times and a competitive price. As lead times become shorter, particularly on modeling, tooling, and molding activities, we become an increasingly significant advantage for our customers. At very short lead times, we are frequently the only supplier that provides a quote.
